Stefanie Kelly is the first doula that I started using as my back-up doula. Stefanie is very knowledgeable and kind. She also has a wonderful sense of humor. Stefanie is supportive of all birth preferences and encourages education to make informed choices. Stefanie also does placenta encapsulating and I highly recommend her for that service. Below, you can learn more about Stefanie’s doula work in her own words.

The woman’s body and what it is capable of, both physically and mentally, is a true testament to the underlying strength and beauty of the birthing experience.  I believe that all birth is a miraculous event and I am beyond inspired and willing to guide birthing women as they embark on this wonderful journey. As your doula I will devote my time and energy toward supporting each and every birth plan whether it be at home, in a hospital, or at a birthing center.

Like many doulas, I became passionate about birth during my own pregnancy and postpartum period.  Since then, I have felt an undeniable call to help support women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.  During pregnancy and postpartum periods women have individual needs and it is essential that they are supported throughout this transformation.  I, as a doula, can assure you that I understand this not only from a professional perspective, but through my own personal perspective as well. My number one goal as your doula is to ensure your birthing experience remains positive for each and every person involved in your birth plan.  I also believe that becoming a father is an incredible journey and I will strive to ensure that dad understands and is supported throughout the entire process as well.

I am here for you.  I will be your own personal cheerleader and your unwavering source of encouragement and support!
